was established in 1874 as a coeducational institution two years before Colorado became a state. As a private liberal arts college, Colorado College challenges students to develop habits of intellect and imagination that will prepare them for lifelong learning. The college operates on a unique academic calendar called “The Block Plan” which allows students to take one class at a time.
